
The Process

30 Minute Consultation
After reaching out, Isabella will send a questionnaire that will be reviewed together on a 30 minute consultation call. This call will help Isabella understand where you are at in your mental health and yoga journey. Yoga is a very personal practice and Isabella emphasizes meeting each person where they are at in each moment.

Yoga Sessions
Isabella will begin with a review of the day's practice, followed by a 2-5 minute pranayama (breathwork) practice to help ground and prepare for your asana (physical/posture) practice. She will have a prepared yoga sequence of either a Vinyasa flow (matching breath to movement), Restorative (held supported postures), or Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). Some days you may find a combination of these different style of yoga to meet you where you are at. At the end of the class, Isabella will provide a journal prompt related to yoga philosophy.

Journal Prompts
Yoga Philosophy is a great way to connect with yourself and your thoughts. Isabella provides journal prompts as a way to help connect the sensations created by your body during your practice with the therapeutic work being done with your mental health provider.

Complement
Isabella's hope is to facilitate topics that can be delved into during your therapy sessions, if that feels right for you. As you move through this complementary approach, begin to notice the differences in the messages and thoughts your body and mind send you during your yoga practice and every day life.
